Three Idiots inspires students
In July, more than 200 students and teachers from one of our partner schools attended a private screening of “Three Idiots” – a movie of friendship, hope and aspiration. The event, sponsored by TUF, offered an unusual opportunity for students from families with limited resources to enjoy a fun and inspiring evening.
Held on July 6 at the Broadway Theatre in Yaumatei, the movie event was supported by proceeds from a previous TUF’s fundraiser when over 300 donors and supporters enjoyed a screening of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in May.
The Three Idiots introduces a new perspective on life and learning to the audience. Here is what our students have said after the show:
“It (Three Idiots) is funny, meaningful and motivational.”
“It was my first time watching a movie with more than 200 students and teachers.”
To those who have contributed to this event, a big thanks on behalf of our students. Please be known that your donation is making a difference; and your continued support is critical to the success of our efforts to improve the life of the social disadvantaged students in our community!
