TUF Kicks off Second Year of Program
After one-month of intensive training and planning, TUF’s program mentors officially kicked off its second year of services in three schools.
This year, two additional secondary schools in Wong Tai Sin and Fanling have joined the TUF family. TUF’s program mentors will deliver customized teaching support and mentoring services to enhance the English academic standards of the students, and to improve their attitudes toward learning and self.
“This is another important milestone of our organization’s development,” says Roger Ng, PhD, Chairman of TUF. “I’m so impressed with the talents and commitment shown by our program mentors that I know they will be able to deliver our objectives and make a difference to the life of thousands of students in need.”
Founded in April 2011, TUF started its pilot program in Tsuen Wan in September 2011. Now the second year into its operations, a total of three schools with over 2500 students are being served by its innovative program designed to improve education and life opportunities for students from the disadvantaged communities.
