Students Inspired and Motivated by Fundraising Gala to Pursue Dreams
Teach Unlimited Foundation has been working with partner schools to inspire teenagers to achieve excellence and tap into their full potential.
On the Saturday evening of May 10th, more than 30 students from three of our partner schools attended the “Dreams Come True” variety show organized by the Rotary Club of Peninsula and four collaborating orgaizations. The gala included beneficiaries of the “Dreams Come True Project”, sharing their unique dream-pursuing experiences, followed by a series of performances such as hip-hop dancing, magic show and a micro movie.
Students were amazed by the perseverance of the performing youth in realizing their dreams. “I was especially inspired by a physically challenged boy whose dream was to write a book to share his thoughts and inspire others,” an S.5 student exclaimed after the three-hour show.
As the academic year is soon coming to a close, Program Mentors will continue to utilize the remaining time at partner schools to deliver dynamic learning experiences to students and conduct customized mentoring sessions with mentees to improve their learning attitudes and self-confidence.
This project is organized by the Rotary Club of Peninsula and four collaborating organizations. It offered tremendous support to the underprivileged young people to explore and fulfill their dreams.
