Dreams do come true – Teach Unlimited Foundation Gala Dinner 2015

Around 100 supporters and partners of Teach Unlimited Foundation (TUF) gathered at the Gala Dinner on 20 March 2015 to celebrate the fruitful results of education support and mentoring program in TUF partner schools with the theme of “Dream”.
Guests from the Hong Kong Institute of Education were invited to delivered remarkable speeches which brought inspiration on education. Dr Paul STAPLETON highlighted importance in English teaching and learning, while Professor LO Sing Kai, the keynote speaker, talked about the power of education with his personal experience and story, for which demonstrated a real example on how education could empower a person and actualize one’s potentials and dreams.
Highlight of the evening was brought by students from TUF partner schools. They used different ways to share their successful stories in dream pursuing and how program mentors motivated them. During the sharing, support from guests of the evening helped turning the nervous and worried faces of the students into smiles and confidence.
Video presentations recapping the dream pursuing journeys of TUF and program mentors touched the audiences’ heart. Whilst our dream is gradually coming true, all these successful stories and experiences provide definite motivation and encouragement in moving our next step forward.
