Board Game Fun Day 2017
On 28 June 2017, students from TUF’s current partner schools (YYS, CHC, SFA, and BHS), Aberdeen Asset Management volunteers and TUF staff met to learn, teach, and play the board games Sushi Go, Incan Gold, For Sale, and Exploding Kittens. TUF Program Mentors organized Board Game Fun Day to give students the opportunity to interact with students from other schools. The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive. Students remarked on how much they enjoyed the games and making new friends, while volunteers talked about their increased awareness and appreciation for what TUF does and the impact the event had on the students in just a few hours.
